About 1pack Media:
1pack Media is the collaboration of John Damschroder and Russ
Birkos. The company name is intended to show total editorial independence from the
conventional wisdom that dominates mainstream media. Both Damschroder and Birkos
have a career combining experience as reporters and as public relations and
marketing executives. The creation of issue bricks, streaming content developed for
consumption in the same method newspapers are used, is based on their strategic
experience in journalism and marketing.
Working together for nearly eight years on the Ohio marketing program, John and Russ
discovered how similar their backgrounds were, with more than a decade each in
television news prior to moving to marketing and business counsel.
Both Russ and John have managed big stories, big accounts, big budgets and big
departments. Now this insight is put to work with an eclectic combination of
stories approached in atypical journalistic fashion shaped by the skill that led
each to win awards in television, marketing and public relations.
